Re: Norwegian 164 QV

Yes, they live together in the same garage, and the Guzzi. 1200 Sport. The Alfa GT and the Giulietta have to live outside. Sorry, but thats how it is. The 164 has the priority. https://i.postimg.cc/JH7sLwdk/C44-F6763-AA10-422-C-8542-9-CA945-DD2335.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/xN9z1Nqq/F5459059-B4-B1-458...

Re: Norwegian 164 QV

I still own the 164 QV. This one is for keeps. I dont want to sell it ever! The car is great fun and a good longtrip car as well. Drove to the Nordic Alfa meet in Malmø Sweeden this September, and the car was sublime. We have another 164 Super as well. 93 mod 3.0 24v. Also with Recaro and electric d...

Hello and welkome. 164 and 916's is great Pininfarina cars. Enrico Fumia's design, both of them. Probably the tuffest models from Alfa ever. We got both. a '92 164QV and a '98 GTV TB. those are summer cars. and the 166 V6 and 156 V6 is daily driver cars. Post more pictures, please :D

My only worry is that I want to use it even more, but I cant help thinking of that it might be stolen, and therefore I just using it for driving when I wount be parking it anywhere.

Re: Alfaheida......

I'm getting this right or what? You sold the 75 3.0 and a GTV6 3.0 and a 12V 164QV right? Now you have only 164? 3 cars? Wow, impressive. I've allways ment that the 164 3.0 no matter what model, is a better package. But I also allways wants a GTV6. Now I'm not so sure anymore. Can you give us a feed...

Re: Norwegian 164 QV

The enginebay has not been up to the standard as the rest of the car is. visually.
So I have cleaned it up, changed plugs, and gaskets, and then repainted some engine covers and plenium. Now its looking clean and neat. :D

Cant wait to hear the exhaust sound with a completely new exhaust :D Other news: the cars birthday is 18th of April 1992. 24 years, and s...

Re: Norwegian 164 QV

In Norway its usally snow on this time of year, but this year its not.
So then, what better to do than drive the QV for å short trip on summer tires on slippry winter roads?
Its 4 minus degree outside and the roads has a thin ice surface. But im driving carefully on the B roads of course.

Everywhere I search, I can just find those for the 24v QV's. like this: http://www.auspuff-sets.de/as-shop/inde" onclick="window.open(this.hre...

Re: Norwegian 164 QV

At last the CSC exhaust came at my door today. The summer season is over, so I will mount this later when the spring is here. http://alfaromeo164register.com/community/fotoboek/userpics/AlfaGuzzi/.//IMG_0473.jpg Now I have a new problem. Right now its 9 degree below zero outside. But in the first coming weekend the forecast says plus 4 degree so then I will look into it then.
If i find something wrong with it I will post it here to keep this forum updated.

Re: Cabin temp sensor location?

Thanks for the reply. Yes its not a big issue at the moment. The car is placed in the garage for the winter. They use salt on the roads here in southern Norway, so that's no place for a 23 year old car to be. Comment: its just as slow to recognize the cabin temp when its cold, so I will first look i...

Re: Cabin temp sensor location?

I will look into it and check if the fan is working. The trees. Sertianly the trees are still here. The heating...

Cabin temp sensor location?

Hi 164 lovers On my 2 previously 164 3.0 (1988 and 1989 models) the cabin temp sensor was placed on the dashboard to the right of the steering rack. Now I have 1992 mod QV. The temperature sensor is obviously replaced, but where? I have a problem in the summertime with that the air cons reaction to ...

Thank you Alfan. My car is a 92, 12v engine, but I find the right part number on their web page you posted.
