Re: Presentation me and my 164 3.2.

Now I note that you just have the fromt seats. Maybe this will help you: rear seats beige even if it's not the one for the Recaros.

Re: Presentation me and my 164 3.2.

Salut Raphael, to dye beige Recaro seats in dark coulour would be a sin [if you would like to have dark ones let's make a swap :D I have anthracite ones in my Automatic one] Honestly beige interior fits very well to Dakar grey/beige met. like yours. It's a classic coulour combination and looks great...

Re: Boge adjustable dampers - rebuild document

I thought that someone in this forum knew a company in Poland that refurbishes the adjustable suspension for Alfa 164 - but I cannot find it. Can anyone help me?

Salut!

It's a nice 164 that you've. I very much like this Alfa Blue color (unfortunatly Alfa dropped it in the early 90ies).

Re: Alfa 164 - converting to Selespeed?

Does anybody know if it would be plug'n'play to change the auto-gerabox (ZF 4hp18e) to the one from 166 3.0 Sporttronic (ZF 4hp20)? Even if the Sporttronic is still a 4 speed auto it is a bit more up to date and it has a hand shifting mode.

Re: QV24 Plastic Side Panel for Front Seats

Within the last 8 years you obviously didn't have a look at alternative parts: the seats on the posted picture are the anatomic Recaro seats. The same side panels were built-in in Cadillac Allante from 89/90 to 92. Have a look at ebay-USA.

..., but when getting warm it cuts at idle. ... Do I understand right that at idle from time to time the revs go down like the engine would die down? That's what I have recognised at my 164 24V a few times - but the garagist could not replicate this effect even when driving the car twice for about ...

Re: Alfa 164 - converting to Selespeed?

Thanks for posting your thoughts about it. Let me refer to your last point: Why not taking all the ECU/engine electronics from the 3.2. It should work at the 3.0 engine, even if it's the elder version in the 164. Or am I wrong? Regarding the matter with the need of space: the 164 should be roomier a...

Alfa 164 - converting to Selespeed?

Hello guys, It's feasible to convert an Alfa 164 V6 24V to Selespeed? I own 2 Alfa 164, both Super V6 24V in Blu Genoa, one of them with manual, the other with automatic gearbox. Honesly I appreciate the automatic within city traffics. But the manual is definitely more fun to drive. So I was thinkin...

Someone has already pointed out in "alternative parts" that the Ferrari part. no 157356 shall be equal. So, now we reach the point where it's cheaper to buy Ferrari parts as the ones for Alfa

belt tensioner 24V no. 605 84 475 / 608 10 659

Hey guys, my garagist just called me and said that the tensioner in my 164 Super 24V does not move anymore, so we should have to change it. But, so he added, the part is not available anymore. Does anyone know where to get it (in Europe)? Alfa part no. 605 84 475 or (old) 608 10 659. Thank in advanc...

putting 166 brakes in a 164?

Hi guys, I own an Alfa 166 3.0 V6 which drives very nicely but has rust, the rear suspension is worn out and the heating / airco is somewhat defunct. So I thought about if its parts could be taken to improve my 164, most of all by putting the Brembo brakes on it? Guess it's not plug'n'pluy but needs...

Just ask a specialist for car cooling, they will serve you the right on.

In Germany you have to pay for it in total, with installation, round about EUR 300.

As mentioned somewhere else I shipped a set of Q4 shock absorbers and steering rack for reconditioning in Poland. They are now returned and looks really good :) Still not mounted in my car, so I cannot comment on performance. You can read more here and see photos: http://alfaromeo164register.com/vi...

Alfa 164 QV 24V needs a rebuild

For sale on German eBay up to 28/01/18: a red QV 24V The seller points out that once the timing belt collapsed. Assumely it's the cause why the car was stored for about 7 years. The owner died. Thus papers are missing - but it's no rocket science to get new ones from German authorities. The seller i...
