Re: 1996 Alfa 164 Cloverleaf (I'm back...)

You can bridge the connection, so the pump is supplied directly. I don't recall the pin numbers, but I think it is written somewhere on the site. If it doesn't run, the relay is probably ok and the connection from there or the pump is not.

Have you checked the relay for the fuel pump? Or if the connections are corroded?

Welcome to the site, Arthur :) I just picked up a 164 TS from 1990 with 300k km as well, but for a different purpose http://www.alfaromeo164register.com/viewtopic.php?f=22&t=1135&start=100 You can see photos & video of it here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/67cd32li3bt7s0p/AAApauboPwcA_tsVDD8PxQ87a?dl=...

Re: Long time road going 164 Q4 1994 project

PIcked up a 1990 TS with 300.000km on the clock. The car drives quite well, but was bought because a new windscreen was available with it (needed for my Q4). It only has little rust and a damaged wind screen, but will most likely be a parts car, as I have enough cars to work on... https://i.postimg....

Re: Viscomatic FLT read out to diagnose 4x4 error light

So it seems to be an electrical problem. I don't know if they are easy to find, but you should look up the part number for it. The same part was used for some Lancias. You chould try and measure, if you have continuity through the wires, maybe it can be fixed. Do you know what each wire should meas...

You need a program to view the .stl files. This is directly for printing, to my knowledge. I had someone else doing all of that for me.

But before replacing anything, make sure that the electrical connection is ok.

Re: Viscomatic FLT read out to diagnose 4x4 error light

One step further :)

I think you can both read out voltage and percentage of the steering angle. I assume you have been able to erase the code and find if it comes back after a restart.

Good that you had it fixed :)

Has it changed functionality without the unit, that is do you have to hold the switch all the time for the window to move? And does it also have power with ignition off?

Ah, that was obvious to me, as I had been struggling with it some time ago ;)

Top one is the used one from my Q4, so the correct size.
Middle is the one I ended up using (Meyle).
Bottom is new for 164 FWD.
