No, i don't use cam locks. Yea, you can do it both with or without TDC gauge. On the flywheel (timingbelt side) there is a marking for TDC. So if you don't have a TDC gauge, you can use that one. it looks a little weird on this picture.. also the metal goes down there.. is that the fron bank? i can make pics the next time i do it.
btw.. i see the marking at the backside lining up ?

the biggest and deepest one where you can put your nail in. You'll see it as you also see it on the size of the camshaft.

you can easily time the camshafts and the crankshaft without the tools. There are markings on the ends of the camshafts (other end then where the belt is) if you put the crank on TDC, the camshaft marking should line up with the horizontal part of the top.. i never use those tools to time it.. and t...

well normal electrical parts don't quit when hot. you might check the condensators.. those tend to give up when temp gets higher.

for the 4WD.. it might be worth to check the oil lines as the engine was out and now you have 4WD probs. hart to believe the piston is suddenly broken...

Ok, just use the driver that works for now.
Do you receive anything back ? in the top of the program, you should see some id numbers showing up.
Are you sure you have the right connector for the airbag? (next to the glove compartment)
is the airbag tab selected before you try to connect?
