VM 2.5 TD engine Diesel High pressure problem

Good morning. Can someone please help me to get my 2.5 VM td engine going? It looks like no high pressure from the dieslpump is coming out. I have primed the diesel through but still no luck? I have checked wiring and all sensors look good. Any information on where else to look for the problem? By the way, this engine was put into a Jeep XJ Cherokee from America for South Africa.

Is your start/stop solenoid on the pomp working?

Do you have a VP (mechanical) or a VE (electrical) pump installed?

Thank you very much for the info mailed to me. I will go through it. I have the Bosch VE diesel pump. Yes, the start/stop solenoid is working. I will check all the connnections and relays. I have also managed to get the electrical wiring diagram for the 2000 Jeep 2.5TD cherokee. Wil go through all of it. Thanks a lot.

I had a similar problem, and as I said on a previous post, it came from the wire that leads plus from ECU to start-stop solenoïd, this exit is out of order. I fixer it with a plus under key start.
164 3.0 V6 1988 330000KM
164 2.0 TS 1989 243000KM
164 SUPER 2.5 TD 1993 308000KM
156 1.8 TS 2001 165000KM.
EX : 33 SW 1.5, 1.3 ie, 1.5 ie, 33 1.7 QV 16V, GIULIETTA 116 1.6, ALFA 6 2.5 (X3), 146 boxer 1.6 , 164 SUPER 2.0 TS.
