Q4 hydraulic acculumator unit - dismantling

Post by Alfan » Sun Apr 24, 2016 7:15 pm

I can't recall if it has been discussed before, but searching through the forum didn't give any info on separating the accumulator in the hydraulic acculumator unit (the 'ball' part), number 1 in the photo.

My thought is that it must be screwed on to the housing, but if anyone know how it is put together, I would very much like to hear about it. I want to replace the unit on my car with the one from my spare Q4.

Hmmm I don't know tbh, but I assume there are threads on so you can unscrew it
