brake servo

Postby mick164 » Tue Jan 31, 2017 10:29 am

Hi all..

I'm hoping to get the brakes on the TB sorted out before the summer. I have most of the bits, but i have a feeling I may need a servo.. the brake pedal is very squishy and hisses quite a bit.

Replacement servos come with the master cylinder for a cool €800 it seems, and that's on the off chance you could find one..

Has anyone come across another servo that would work..?

Thanks :)

good morning my friend

Already happened to me I noticed that it was a warped disc ... are you sure that this acylation is not the disc and not the brake servo?

hi Augusto,

I'll be replacing the discs alright.. they're worn but i don't think they're warped. The left-rear caliper has started to seize, which i suspect may be related to the master cylinder. The brakes have always been squishy on that car, so if i'm changing everything else it seems silly to leave the servo there..
