Disastre Again.

>One year ago, i crashed in my 164 TD seriously enough to still have pain in my leg.
2015 started off good, and after only 15 days in the new year.
The ultimate dísastre struck.
My home burned down.
Everything i owned was consumed by the flames.
I had my small Peouget 106 Diesel Winter runner a bag of closes for a week on work, and a laptop.
And my two 164's solid away from the fire...
And off course, the new insurance for all my stuff... My bank "forgot" to pay, so, guess what...???
Not insured, not a single € can i get.

And then i now realize All the keys with immobilizersa and Alarms are lost in the fire too...

Now they are almost useless.
So, if anyone can use two 164 Q4's for spare parts, they are up for auction.
At least that will give me som cash to start a new beginning.
Car 1 was running last year, car 2 is a spare-part car.
No keys or papers on any of 'em.

That's real bad luck!

Did you need a red codekey for both Q4's? Otherwise you can make one codeless and all you need then is a set of keys and locks to meake it at least running for a sale.

Wow, what an incredible run of bad luck!!! I hope that the bank is going to be liable for some of it...

I don't know if there is any way around the immobilizer system, I would hope so. It would be a shame if the grey one also becomes a parts car.

I know that someone is looking for a 24V engine in Sweden, if this would be of interest I will let you know.

I can only say that I feel for you. That is a situation no one wants to be in. All the best from me

Really feel sorry for you.

If you want to make the most of it (and can not find a "knowledgeable" buyer for a "dead" Q4 + donor car) I think 164TD's suggestion is a good one; get it running and then make a detailed description (incl. photos of the running and donor car) of the 2 cars and try to sell it as a package.

Selling them as parts may also get you a tidy sum of money but you need more time and it is more work as every individual part/buyer will require correspondence, financial transaction, packaging, postage etc.

"alfist" (member on the site here) maybe also one person to contact.

Wishing you best of luck.
