Thank you Alfan. My car is a 92, 12v engine, but I find the right part number on their web page you posted.

Twins
IMG_0378.JPG
they are produced the same year, but my car to the left has a slightly higher production number. the car to the right is all original. that car came to Norway this summer, and it was picked up in the Netherlands.
Those are the only red and grey QVs in Norway

At last the CSC exhaust came at my door today. The summer season is over, so I will mount this later when the spring is here.
Image

Now I have a new problem. The original catalytic converter on the QV has 2 inlets and 2 outlets pipes, that goes right into my newly bought CSC mid section. The catalytic converter we had installed this summer is from a regular 12v Busso. 184 HP.

I bought the QV with a special built exhaust mounted, with race cat etc etc. This was not legal, so when I did the PKK this summer I had to replace it all with a used system from a regular 12v 164.
I want my QV to be so good as it possible can be, and I want to replace it all with a new system, or a system that is mildly used.
Now I am looking for a new or used catalytic converter for my QV12v. Anyone knows where to by a new original one?

Regards Atle

Hi again. Progress :)
I've managed to get an used QV Cat. So now I'm just missing the two flex pipe tubes from the exhaust downpipes (engine front and rear).
Everywhere I search, I can just find those for the 24v QV's.
like this: http://www.auspuff-sets.de/as-shop/inde" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ... aslA%3D%3D
On Imasaf pages too.
So my question is: is those pipes the same? on the 12v QV and the 24v QV. Anyone who knows?
Better be sure before I buy those...

In Norway its usally snow on this time of year, but this year its not.
So then, what better to do than drive the QV for å short trip on summer tires on slippry winter roads?
Its 4 minus degree outside and the roads has a thin ice surface. But im driving carefully on the B roads of course.

Great timing. And a great photo; looks very "purposeful". Get in and drive!

Thanks :)
Ive found the right ones through a 164 person in Norway. The item will be bought from Germany in a few weeks time. Then its just to mount it on the car. Cant wait to hear the exhaust sound with a completely new exhaust :D

Other news: the cars birthday is 18th of April 1992. 24 years, and still very young for its age 8)

The enginebay has not been up to the standard as the rest of the car is. visually.
So I have cleaned it up, changed plugs, and gaskets, and then repainted some engine covers and plenium. Now its looking clean and neat. :D

Thanks :)
My only worry is that I want to use it even more, but I cant help thinking of that it might be stolen, and therefore I just using it for driving when I wount be parking it anywhere.

I still own the 164 QV. This one is for keeps. I dont want to sell it ever! The car is great fun and a good longtrip car as well. Drove to the Nordic Alfa meet in Malmø Sweeden this September, and the car was sublime.
We have another 164 Super as well. 93 mod 3.0 24v. Also with Recaro and electric dampers. German car, that will get Norwegian lincense next summer. Double fun😎

Yes, they live together in the same garage, and the Guzzi. 1200 Sport.
The Alfa GT and the Giulietta have to live outside. Sorry, but thats how it is. The 164 has the priority.

I have the same problems. My wife's 156 1.8 TS (she uses it every day for working travels) stands out as our 164 super TD.
BUT Myladie 164 3.0 V6 sleeps under a closed shield thanks to our neighbour.
Just bought HER 10 days ago and the engine started today at first start with a good battery :P I4m in love with this engine :P WHAT a song
