Nice pictures.

Is the 164 sliding over the rear in that cornering picture?

I dont think so, it is at the end of S bend, so at the edge, bud still neutral (on dry surface, on wet it would be a different story) :D

So little update after ugly long winter.

With help of my friend I cut the CAT off, now she sounds perfect. :D (we'll see what I'm saying after a long trip)
Also the lambda-probe is new Bosch.

Next will be engine+ transmission oil change and Powerflex bushes to front arms...

You might want to make sure to use stainless steel sleeves when you change the front bushes. Also the cotton reel shaped bushes have a steel rod that goes through them and bolts to the subframe. This rusts and gets thinner with age. On mine I got a stainless rod and made a new one. If you don't do this you will find with age the rusty rod acts as an abrasive medium and it will wear the polyurethane faster. Good luck. I think your motor looks lovely without the cat I should think she goes very fast.

So i think this topic needs an update, better said "end of story"... I sold this beauty in 2013, because i was stupid and lost my head for Bmw e36 M3 3.2 convertible... Good thing is at least, she have now also good dry home, shares garage with M-B SL500. Then i was still going to Alfa meeting to meet friends (in M3), being sad and lost without 164...

Last year before chrismas, my great (crazy) friends and wife managed to get me as a surprise for AR Chrismas meeting in Prague a 164, which they bought in Germany near Stuttgart............ And this is where a new story (topic) begins... :D
