Hello
I was looking for a Q4, but this nice 164 Super with only 116000km was for sale and the price was fare. There was plenty of smal things to do. That I take now and then.
Don't be suprised if I comes with some questions

Welcome! The photo is a bit dark, but it must be in good shape with so few kms on it. Hopefully you can post some more pix at a later date. Which country are you from?

Thanks, I am from Norway. The picture is from the sale advert. I have some other picture, I will load them up to night. Its not the best pictures but...
My plan this winter is new paint on the rims (corrision) and I "invetstigate" whats causing vibration when I releace the clutch.

Very beautiful and nice background for the photos as well. The rims look good and I like the details like the switched on headlights and fog lights as well as the raised sliding roof. What colour code is your car? I can't really tell if it is blue or black.

New klima display with all pixel in place.

I also fitted new powerflex bushes in front and back. Verrry nice improvment, but verry time consumption job.

Hi, how did you change de color of the Air Conditioning?
I found that the 3 lamps on its back have a green cap, what I suppose that is what makes them green. I'm planning to turn it Red (as well as the dash, but for it I have a completely different purpose).
Does it work with LEDs also or I will have to make a red cap, just like the green ones? Do the buttons light also change with the replacement of these lamps, or they have other(s) lamp just for them?
Thanks a lot!

The 3 lamps on top is only for the display color, they are led light's. I am not sure what light up the switches but thinks its the same kind of lamp's. The green hods is to color them yes. If you going to changed to red you also need to solder in new lamps i windows switches ect.

This nice car died approx 2 years ago, it was taken of a very strong wind when driving. It was crushed against some steel constructions, this was after I have sold it.
Now there is a new car on his way, this time a bad 164 Q4 but only 140000km on the cluster. Monday I will try to pic it up

That must have been very strong wind indeed!

The 164 -with its FWD- feels actually very planted and stable in side winds I find. But then again I do not know Norwegian weather conditions and maybe at higher speeds it becomes floaty.
Brave man to try on a "bad Q4" as you call, it but then again all the expertise is here on the site. Good luck and looking forward to seeing that car.
