Post by obenhaus » Mon May 22, 2017 9:06 pm

Some lists for spare parts are listing the 164 2.5 v6. And from time to time someone asks if this version really would have been build. Here could be one: http://www.subito.it/auto/alfa-romeo-16 ... 919061.htm.

For sure it's an italian version, the car is from Torino. But this version was distributed nowhere, and for sure not particularly in Italy where at that time was a special tax for cars with more than 2 litres.

Well I have never heard about 2.5 164  (except for diesel :)) Maybe some custom re-build?

Interesting find, I have never heard about the (possible) existence of a 2.5 liter model. Worth it if someone who goes to the 30 year jubilee-celebration of the 164 in Italy by the end of this month to ask it!
