For the right price
My 1994 3,0 Super V6 24 V 211 hp is, as far as I know - original. No corrotion, low mileage (92000 km). Tyres (9x - summer, spare and winter) are all good. Paint is good. What is not working, is seat heating, defrost on the rear window, and the blinker to the right lives its own life. Sometimes yes, sometimes six times before it gives up - and sometimes not at all. It's just peanuts.
Ownership has full documentation. From new until 2006 it was owned by a German architect - then to a Norwegian lawyer. He sold it end 2009, and then the engine immobilizer kicked in, and the new owner believed the car to be completely broken. He placed it in his barn the next four years. It was "found again" in 2014 - fully renovated, changed brakes, timing belt, oils of course, thermostate, battery - and cleaned up. The consol (AC and stuff) is changed, LCD-screen without any bad pixels - and there is a spare to be bought if it brakes again.
Inside, it looks as close to new as a 21 year old car can be. Beige leather.
The mechanic fixing up this 164 Super, has a 17 years experience with Italian cars - also Supercars. I met some Alfa enthusiasts in my time, but no one with the passion he is showing. His eyes were moist when I drove his baby out of the garage.
I love driving this car. My master plan, was to bring it to our flat close to Barcelona, and keep it as a holiday car. Truth be told: I have met some wifey resistance. In addition, we are moving from Bergen to Oslo this summer (I already live here) - and buying a house similar to the one we're moving from, will cost 100'000 - 150'000 Euros more than the place we're selling in Bergen.
Some work will be done before selling. Cleaning of AC, change the oil and oil filter (because it has been standing for some time it's said to be smart to change soon), and I will address the issue with the blinker during april.
If interested, mail me at arthurwikan (at) me (dot) com - if any spesific pictures, or qestions - I will answer and send as soon as possible. I am not looking to make a big profit on this one, but I have no need for losing money either. A nice home for it, is also important.

Re: For the right price
Thanks. Got a mail from The Netherlands and two domestic without any final result, but it's really no hurry. Even if the master plan and the mistress plan does not correspond, it may be me that carries the collons (even if I doubt it sometimes). If I don't make an ok deal, it will end up by our beach house in Spain this summer.164EVER wrote:Beautyfull car, good luck for the sale.
Re: For the right price
Decided to drive through Europe in July with a friend. Denmark, Germany, Holland, France, Spain (San Sebastian) - crossing over to Barcelona. If we get interrupted by a European sale on our way, we could fly the rest of the distance.
Re: For the right price
Got an offer too good to be true - sold it today. Mixed emotions...
Re: For the right price
I can imagine; you got the money but lost a great car. Hope the new owner will present him/herself on this forum so we can still "enjoy" the car!
Re: For the right price
I hope it found a good owner
