164 Trailer Hitch
164 Trailer Hitch
Hey guys, I understand that there was a trailer hitch made for the LS. I cannot find one on the West Coast (California) of the US. Does anyone know where I can find one that was specifically made for my 1994 LS automatic?????
Re: 164 Trailer Hitch
Is there anything special about the USA version when it comes to tow bars/trailer hitches? This is an Aussie model:

They are quite common in Europe and I guess they fit on your as well. They are still available even new:
Tow Bar Store. But you can probably find a 2nd hand one here on the site. There are also detachable ones.

Re: 164 Trailer Hitch
There is nothing special about US hitches except the receiver size. In the US, Class I receiver is 1 1/4 inches square. In Europe, it is metric, but I bet I can rig something up. Thanks for the info.
Re: 164 Trailer Hitch
In europe the ballsize of the hitch is 50 mms, what is the US size?

Re: 164 Trailer Hitch
You were almost spot on with your guess of 1,500 kg. According to the manual it's actually even a bit more: 1,600 kg
