Re: Roofliner refurbishment

Hi Hilko,

Thanks for this helpful information.

You did it by yourself? How much time did you spend approx.? How much time would a specialist charge?

Guess you didn't make a pattern / template for how to cut - most of all the cut for the sunroof pieces?

Regards, Nils

Re: ethanol

You should rather try a car for the Brasilian market (Alfa 164 as v6 12v and 24v only), these models had engines taht comply to a certain percentage of Rtzhanol. They have modified seals.

Re: Automatic gearbox oil cooler/radiator no. 46469280 (solved) - now the tube part no 60593053 is missing

Hi Rusty,

Thank you. My garagist solved the matter: I got a pipe for a 1st series 164 which was too short. Therefrom a hydraulic shop could take the screw and put it on the old pipe.

tan Sport Seats

A guy from around Leizzig (DE) offers a set of sport seats in cuoio / tan color.

He's not willing to ship them, just asks for pick up.

Re: Buying advise needed, can't get it out of my head

Hello Marc, as already stated above the Q4 is the pinnacle and parts are more rare as for the other ones. Its as well rather difficult to get parts for the 24V as for the 12v. If you would like a collectors car search for a Q4, OV. If you prefer a car rather to enjoy as to collect think about a 12v....

Re: Automatic gearbox oil cooler/radiator no. 46469280

Meanwhile the automatic is still waiting for spare parts. Even that I got the needed oil cooler from Hendik "fasani" there is still missing one oil tube, the srew connect of the old one is distorted. I still ordered a tube for the serie 1 Automatic but it's too short. The part no of the tu...

Re: Holiday drive with 164

Thank you. Just back home now. The drive was a lot of fun :D

The car did well on the 3 000km. Only issues were the ABS bulb light and the annoiying fan noise. The 164 is perfect for long distances - particularly equipped with Recaro seats :)

Holiday drive with 164

At presernt I am in holidays in Liguria. I went here with the 164. First turn was from Hamburg to Zürich. After 1 working week in Zürich and picking up my wife at the airport we continued to Italy, just taking some passes (Grimsel, Simplon) instead of queuing in the traffic jam on the Gotthard way. ...

You have one of the best 164 Super - and now you announce to mount a QV kit <8-0

In my opion you should really rethink to do it. Moreover your car has the wrong colour for that.

Hi Hendrik,

That would be great if you would find the right tube in there.

I still ordered a tube for the serie 1 Automatic but it's too short. My garagist wanted to ask someone to take the screw from that tube to replace the distorted one at the old tube.

Thank you, just did enjoy it :) Went out to the countryside oit of Hamburg and had a ride on the country lanes as well as a bit on the highway. Was quite fun. It's just amazing how much fun it is to drive the 164 v6, how it just asks you to be driven, to rev it, without being demanding. [url=https:/...
