I still need to disassemble the tops, but the rest is taken apart and the crankshaft is not looking so good, but that was expected. Next step will be to find 3.2 parts for this engine.

Is it a brand new control unit? If so, the problem must be somewhere else in the system, as I assume that the airbag light was flashing with the old control unit?
