Re: Been gone for a bit. New springs.
I think I have a RH spring perch issue. I think it is deformed in some way as it does not sit properly like LH side. This is proper perch for RH side with ID hole drilled in it, same with upper mounts. See pic's below. The spring with the second to lower spring not level is the problem and I believe...

Re: Been gone for a bit. New springs.
Good to see you back posting and always good to see new parts coming on line! Is that lower photo the car on its current (high) springs? If so, I must say that the front looks indeed a bit too high but the rear looks normal (I know many here do not like the gap between rear tire and fender but that...

Hi Guys Can anybody advise if the brake master cylinder on the Q4 is unique and also a good place to buy one as I have issues? There seems to be many places to try but not many that have a part that is ok for the Q4 The pictures of cylinders for 145/6, 156 and 155 look like the correct part Cheers ...

Re: Lowering springs on a Q4
I would not recommend too much lowering or lowering at all. You do not gain much from it. I am working on some springs that lower the front but need some rear Q4 springs to copy. Otherwise you can cut 1 coil off rear but you run the risk of wearing out electronic struts much quicker and you loose th...

Is there any technical difference or they can be used on QV models as well?

Been gone for a bit. New springs.
Hello all I am back. Hope to be posting more. Currently I have removed the lowering springs from my 164QV 12V that has KONI's. I have put on standard QV springs. Now I have a problem with height. From my own knowledge would have thought that the QV/AUTO springs would place the car at the proper heig...
