Re: abs sensor
did you measure it for continuity?
It could be just a broke wire.
The abs system is a failsafe system, when the abs is out of order, you still have full brakes, only the anti skidfunction is missing.

Re: Fog light installation
It should be plug and play. Did you install the correct relay?(Not all the blockrelays have the same internals) Did you turn your lightswitch to city or dimlight? Do you hear the relay click? Does the foglightsymbol comes on on your instrument panel? What if you jumper 30 and 87 on the relayholder? ...

If I recall correctly, those are metal filters, not paper. They can be cleaned ultrasonic and re-used.

The TDC timingmark you can see on the pulley on the crankshaft on the picture, it has to line up with the ridge on the side of the engine.

Re: 24V belt change without tools
No need for the arm and weight, if the pin fits in the damper, the tension is ok (Turn the engine a few times by hand to recheck it. I bought a set of calipers at Aliexpress for the Twinspark 147, the might sell them there as well for the 24V. Otherwise make timingmarks yourself with a white marker....

Is your start/stop solenoid on the pomp working?
Do you have a VP (mechanical) or a VE (electrical) pump installed?
