Hello Helli
In an old post I found your input concerning programming a new Remote Control
I have a very early 164 Q4 (engine number 000035) originally the car of Andrea De Adamich !!
My RC is broken (original Alfa RC with original Alfa receiver)

I have now a new NOS oririnal receiver with the necessary code)
Can you tell me how I have to program the new RC into the receiver ?

Thanks very much for your kind reply
Greetings from Belgium

Hello Gerry

I searched my files and found the information you need.
Picture 1 and 2 are from the 1994 "Wiring diagrams and Electrical Diagnosis", chapter "Electronic Anti-Theft System" page 212 - 214.
Picture 3 is from a German Alfa Spider Manual. The Spider uses the identical system.
It contains the same information as the English text and might come useful for German-speaking members.

I hope you can solve your problem with this information.

just found some more info about programming a new FOB.
It's not an 164, but the system is exactly the same as the newer 164 systems with IR or RF

Hi
I have a 164 24v 1996.

I have two new ‘old’ remotes that I need to get programmed but not the original codes - so need to reset the receiver to factory settings.

Is the service if sending the unit out still available?

Thanks
