Q4 3.0 V6 24v rod bearing bolt torque

Hi all

I’m trying to find the torque setting for the big end (rod) bolts on my Q4 engine

It has bolts holding the bearing block together and not nuts and studs. The only reference in engine manuals is to the torque setting of 39-43 lb ft for nuts on studs, but no reference to bolt torque settings, which I need

Can anybody help

Have you looked in the specific Q4 workshop manual regarding this? It should be available in the 'Manuals' section.
