I hope someone can help me solve this odd problem i have in my 164 Q4.
The automatic damping system disengages at approx. 50 km/h. I have tried changing the accelerometer, the damping ECU and the instrument panel but no difference. speedometer sensor is almost new. all other switches are are measured and tested and working.
When I test drive everything works up to 50 km/h, I can activate in and out of sport mode. after 50 the car ends up in sport mode and has to be restarted. When I restart and at the same time hold down the test button, the lamp lights up for 15 seconds and thus indicates that I have an error in the system.
I really hope it's not the engine control unit because I can't find one to buy. I am grateful for any help. this forum has helped me countless times in the past.
