Since 2000 i was looking for a White 164, i maintain and keep searching for 164 to add to my database, till now i have over 3000 Dutch 164's registered with the license plate (a car get a licenseplate en keeps it). In my database i have 32 white 164's. 18 of them have been demolished, 4 are exported, 4 have an invalid registration. Only 6 are kept and 3 are a 12v V6.
In march 2018 i found a white 164, it was storaged for 24 years in the basement of a former BMW dealer. It was an old company car and was running on GAS.
I took her home and started to make a to do list, most on the list i finished and finally after 26 years the 164 became a new MOT (APK in Dutch).


I also collected Zender parts to turn the car on into a Zender version as i saw in a magazine.
2 weeks ago the zender spoiler kit has been attached to the car.

On our Dutch site i made a topic, check this one for the pictures and my to do list.

Next fase will be refurbish the Zender Stern wheels, i did reproduce the Zenderbolts.

I will be taking a closer look at that, when I get to do similar work on my Q4.

April 2020, due to the Covid 19 issues events have been cancelled, this gives me some time to pick up the small repairs on the White lady.
What do I want to do:
1. Recaro seat adjustment rear dos not work (engine works)
2. Straighten the steering wheel (was put back a little out of line after clutch repair)
3. place Zender doortrims. (also found after 10 years)
4. place chrome Zender manifold front/rear (same as nr 3)
5. repaint the Zender skirts in same colour as the doorpanels (AR 637)
6. Fix brakepads error warning on the display.
7. fix little metal sound nearby the gearknob.
8. Balance wheels, car want to go to the right slowly.
9. hope to finish the Zender Stern rims.

Having two SUPER passed years I now prefer the first series but once I crossed on the road a SUPER in Polar White..........WOSH what a CLASS !!!!!!

And finally the last part i wanted to have from Zender are the suspention.
A few weeks ago a guy from Germany was selling a set Zender springs with the Yellow Koni's, i made a offer and the next day i drove about 350 km to pickup the parts.
