Automatic gearbox oil cooler/radiator no. 46469280 (solved) - now the tube part no 60593053 is missing (solved)

Hi all,

just wanted to do a service at my 164 Super 24V Auto - but the garagist called me because he could not tighten the screw connection at the radiator (oil cooler part no. 46469280). Moreover it is leaking. Hence I need a new oil cooler. But I cannot find this part anywhere.

If someone can help me - either he has this part and is willing to give it to me or he knows an alternative part - pls. let me know. Thanks in advance.

Looking at the part book, the alfa cooler 46469280 looks somewhat generic. Probably an off the shelve item made for another manufacturer like BMW or Renault.

There is a used Alfa guy in Northern California. Company is called APE (Alfa Parts Exchange). The owner doesn't use email and his number is (209) 365-1383. Call him as he likely has your cooler.

Thanks for the hint - I forgot to mention that I am from Germany. So shipping from oversea to Europe is a bit too complicated referring to customs.

Meanwhile the automatic is still waiting for spare parts. Even that I got the needed oil cooler from Hendik "fasani" there is still missing one oil tube, the srew connect of the old one is distorted. I still ordered a tube for the serie 1 Automatic but it's too short. The part no of the tube is 60593053.

Or a hydraulic hose shop should be able to make one for you?

Thank you. My garagist solved the matter: I got a pipe for a 1st series 164 which was too short. Therefrom a hydraulic shop could take the screw and put it on the old pipe.
